Newlands valley runs between Braithwaite and Buttermere, in the English Lake District. From Braithwaite, the narrow winding road with frequent views of Newlands Beck, leads to the small hamlet of Littletown and then onto Buttermere.
It is also well known for its links to Beatrix Potter who used Newlands Valley as a backdrop for the Tale of Mrs Tiggywinkle.
Traditional piecing with hourglass and half square triangles blocks and each section is outlined with an accent border.
